Ingredients

2 Cups Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 Tblsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
Pinch of Cayenne pepper
2 Cups grated Tasty cheese
1 Cup Full fat Milk
Tomato Relish or (your choice of flavour)

Method

Preheat oven to 220 C. Put the tray into oven to heat. I used our La Chamba bakeware.
Sift all dry ingredients together, & then mix in 1 cup of cheese.
Create a well in the centre & add the milk, stir quickly with a butter knife.
On a floured bench quickly shape your scone to a 3cm thick. Spread with your choice of Relish & sprinkle the remainder of your cheese. Cut into desired sizes (optional)
Spray your tray with sprink & flour your tray also. Bake for 15 to 20mins. You will smell them when they are ready.
Best served hot with butter & a cup of tea.

Perfect for a chilly winters day for morning or afternoon tea or served with a delicious soup at dinner.
