GINGERBREAD RECIPE
100g Soft brown sugar
100g golden syrup
225g plain flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 heaped tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
50g unsalted butter
METHOD
Pre heat oven to 180 drgrees c. Grease 2 baking sheets.
Sift all the dry ingredients together. Heat butter, sugar and syrup until dissolved.
Leave to cool and add to dry ingredientsand make a dough.
Roll the dough in gladwrap and chill in the fridge for 30mins.
Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickand cut into shapes.
Place on trays allowing space to spread.
Cook for 10-15mins.
